Overview

Use the Administration Console to configure the MAX Connect device and the MAX Connect meeting room. 

Accessing the Admin Console Webpage

The Console is accessed as a webpage from a connected computer using a browser. Enter the device's IP address or the device hostname in the browser URL field to bring up the sign-in page.

• https://<IP-Address>/settings
• https://MAXConnect -<serialNumber>.local/settings/

The default password is the device's 8-digit serial number. No username is required. Biamp strongly recommends changing the password on the Console's Device page to protect your system's security.

Connection Privacy Alerts: When signing into the admin console for the first time, your browser may display an alert indicating this connection is not secure. This is due to not having a certificate entered on this MAX Connect.

• Use your browser's options to make the non-secure connection.
• This alert should not appear during subsequent sign-ins.
• You can prevent future occurrences for other devices and admin users by entering a certificate under the Network page's HTTPs tab once you are signed into the admin console.

Landing page: The Console opens to the Device page following a successful initial sign-in.

Navigation Sidebar

Access the Console's setting pages using the sidebar.

Logout

Signs out of the Administration Console.

Device

Configure the MAX Connect device's settings.

Room

Configure the BYOM room, including session settings and room display graphic elements.

Peripherals

Discover and manage peripherals connected to the MAX Connect.

Network

Configure and manage the MAX Connect system's network connections.
