Join a Session

Note: The device must be on the same LAN or WiFi network as the MAX Connect.

• WiFi options can be found under Settings on iOS devices.

1. After installation, open the app.

2. Enter the Session ID, which is shown on the primary display of the room.

• During the first time signing into each MAX Connect system, you may need to enter the IP address or hostname of the device.
• The IP address or hostname will be shown on the room's main display. 

Subsequent logins should only require the Session ID.

iOS Session Home Screen

The iOS Session home screen includes:

• Settings cog icon button 
• A whiteboard
• Share button
• UC Camera Button
  • For video participation in Teams, Zoom, or other UC online meetings.
• Information help button
• Session sign off

Whiteboard

Click the blue arrow at the bottom center of the Whiteboard screen to access the toolbar and its annotation tools.

Annotation Bar Elements

Top Bar

• Contains the color palette bar and pen size selector.

Bottom Bar

• Draw button
• Eraser button
• The Delete button clears all content from the whiteboard
• Participant icon

Share Content

How to share content on your device with other participants. 

1. Click the Share button on the homescreen.

2. Open the Control Center

• Swipe down from the top-right corner of the phone's screen.

3. Tap the mirror icon.

4. Select the MAX Connect server.

5. Enter the AirPlay Password for the MAX Connect.

• Enter the 4-character session ID shown on the room display's Welcome Screen. Enter the ID in all uppercase.

Stop Sharing

1. Tap Stop Mirroring to stop sharing content.

Settings

Tap the Settings cog button on the home screen to access the app's settings where users can:

• Set a display name
• Set a profile photo
• Access support in the form of:
  • The online help system
  • Email support

Setting a User Name

Profile Photo

This feature provides two options for adding pictures as well as the ability to remove a photo.

Option 1: Upload an image from your device.

• Click on the Your gallery button

Option 2: Take a picture using your phone.

• Click on the Your Camera button in the app's Settings section.

Leave Session

1. Tap the Leave button near the top-right of the screen.

2. Confirm or cancel the decision to leave the session.
